On one side, our work with North American clinics across strategy, patient journey, marketing and operations gave us direct exposure to the expectations, concerns and trust signals that shape healthcare decisions in this market.
On the other, our team brought hands-on experience from Türkiye’s medical tourism sector, with direct knowledge of how clinics operate, how international patients move through the journey, and where communication, coordination, transparency and trust can break down.
Bringing those two perspectives together exposed a clear gap. Finding healthcare providers abroad had become easier. Knowing whom to trust, what to expect, and how the surrounding journey would actually work had not.
North Reach was built to close that gap — making distant healthcare options easier to evaluate, understand and bring within reach.
That starts with who enters the network.
Providers do not pay North Reach to be considered, reviewed, verified or listed. Listing is free, but entry is not open: only providers that meet our criteria are accepted into the network.
Our verification approach is informed by applicable requirements in Türkiye and recognized national and international quality, accreditation and infection-prevention frameworks and guidance, including the Türkiye Ministry of Health’s Health Quality Standards (SKS), TÜSKA’s Standards of Accreditation in Health, Oral and Dental Health Services (SAS ADSH), guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and resources from the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC).
These references sit alongside North Reach’s own criteria and hands-on review of how clinics actually operate.
The process draws on practical experience across clinic operations, quality systems, strategy and the international patient journey. It looks beyond how a clinic presents itself online to examine the practical conditions that matter when a patient is making a healthcare decision from thousands of kilometres away.
A place in the North Reach network is earned through review — not purchased through a listing fee.
Verification is only one part of the model. We also structure information around the patient journey, make the surrounding process easier to understand, and keep a real human support layer available when information on a screen is not enough.
Distance should not mean a lower standard of clarity, scrutiny or support.
North Reach was not built to direct patients’ healthcare decisions. It was built to improve the conditions in which those decisions can be made with confidence.
Reach with Confidence.
